



The interior of this cottage is hardwoods for vestibule and parlor, and paint work for the rest. The exterior appearance is ornate and very attractive, and as to the interior, the owner and all who see it are perfectly delighted with it. The vestibule, or hall, is large and opens in three principal rooms. The parlor and sitting rooms are connected by sliding doors and are admirably adapted for entertainments. The bath room opens into the bed room and a kitchen. Outside materials: The story is weather boarded up to roof. Gables are wainscotted with neat belt of ornamental cut shingles below. Roof, slated; foundation, brick. painting, three-coat work. Outside blinds. Size: Over all, except steps, 36 feet 9 inches x 45 feet 9 inches. Height of story, 10 feet; studding, 12 feet long; depth of cellar, 6 foot 6 inches under kitchen.


Fisk only lived in his Barber desinged home for about 2 years before boarding on Luttrell in 1893 while his new house at 800 Deery was build built. The Deery house was only loosly similar to the original Barber design.
