This makes a splendid story and one-half house, a class of buildings so much in demand. They are cheaper to build than a two story house, are less effected by the wind, and are not necessarily warmer in the second story in the summer than a two-story house. Plan No. 1 has stairs going up from the dining room, while Plan No. 2 has both front and back stairs. Plan No. 1 size – 29 ½ x 49 ½ feet. Height of first story, 9 ½ feet; second story, 9 feet. Plan No. 2 size – 29 ½ x 57 feet. Height of first story, 9 ½ feet; second story, 9 feet. Price of complete plans, with bill of materials, . . . . $22.50. Price of blue prints, . . . . $8.50.
